Thank you for choosing **SnapNote** ("the Application", "we", "us", or "our"). We are deeply committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. SnapNote is built from the ground up as a **100% offline, private, and secure** note-taking application.

## 1. Information Collection and Use
**SnapNote does NOT collect, transmit, sell, or store any personal information on external servers.**
- **No User Accounts:** You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide personal details (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the Application.
- **On-Device Storage:** All notes, checklists, tables, folder categories, tags, and user preferences are stored strictly locally on your device using sandboxed on-device storage (`GetStorage`).
- **No Analytics or Trackers:** We do not include third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, telemetry engines, or user behavioral analytics.

## 2. Device Permissions and Purpose
SnapNote requests only the minimum necessary permissions required for core features, and all data remains on your physical device:
1. **Camera Permission (`android.permission.CAMERA`):**
- *Purpose:* Used exclusively when you choose to take a photo to attach directly to a note.
- *Privacy Guarantee:* Photos are saved locally to your device and are never sent over the internet.
2. **Photos / Media / Storage Access (`READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` / `READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`):**
- *Purpose:* Allows you to select images from your gallery to attach to notes, export notes as PDF / TXT files, and import/export `.json` backup files to/from your phone's storage.
- *Privacy Guarantee:* Files you select remain strictly local to your device.

## 3. Data Backup and Export
- **Local File Backups:** SnapNote allows you to generate a `.json` backup of your notes and save it to any directory on your device (e.g., Downloads, Documents, SD card) or share it via your device's native sharing interface.
- **PDF & TXT Export:** You have full ownership and control over your data and can export notes into standard formats anytime.
- **Data Deletion:** Deleting a note or uninstalling the Application completely removes the local data from your device unless you have saved an external backup file.

## 4. Third-Party Services and Advertising
- **Zero Advertising:** SnapNote is a paid, premium application with zero banner ads, interstitial ads, or video ads.
- **No Third-Party Cloud Data Sharing:** We do not connect to external servers, cloud databases, or third-party marketing services.

SnapNote does not address anyone under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, as the Application collects no personal data whatsoever.
